The Morning After

I’m still feeling pretty excited having my own blog – I hope I have the stamina to continue and maintain this for months (or maybe years?) to come. I got up late this morning — it was just too cold to get up early. Whilst the mornings have turned brighter, the wintery weather hasn’t left just yet. As much as I would love to sit around in front of my computer, it’s time for me to get ready and head off to work. I was tempted to make a reference to my needing to take a shower soon, but a friend said that I had this obsession with showers. 😀 Haha. I just like being clean by having two showers a day! 😛

The cough is still lingering around so I may head off to the doctor today so I can get better before my Grand Nordic/Baltic Sojourn! 🙂 This time next week, I’ll be as giddy as a 4-month-old labrador! Speaking about dogs, after finishing Marley & Me, my next book will be Khaled Hosseini’s The Kite Runner. I bought this book last year and didn’t get the chance to read it. (My bookshelves are full with unread and half-read books! I’m sure you can relate to that … haha).
