G’day Earth!

Marley & Me

It’s 10:38pm here in Kurralta Park — my left wrist is hurting (don’t know why) and I’m yet to take my evening shower. I’m feeling quite ‘victorious’ that I’ve managed to install WordPress within my domain. At one stage, I thought about creating a complex and wonderful website, but due to lack of motivation and time, I suppose blogging will do for now. 🙂

Well, I think I should have my shower – it’s cold here in Adelaide, it’s apparently only around 9.8C at the moment. It was really cold this morning, even with the heater on, the cold gave me a bad headache.

Btw, again, to those who cares, if you’re looking for a delightful book to read, get yourself a book by John Grogan called ‘Marley & Me‘ – I bought it two days ago in Sydney and I just couldn’t put it down. The book is one of the easiest book to read, I chomped half of it just hours after the purchase — John Grogan, the author, has a great way of describing his experiences so that by the end of the book, you felt as if you had known Marley really well. The book chronicled how he and his wife got Marley, “the world’s worst dog”, the accidents at home, Marley’s fear of the thunderstorm and his penchant for poodles’ bums.

I finished the book today – when I reached the stage when Marley was getting old, I couldn’t help feeling sad in the bus this morning, reading his old-age antics and knowing that the end was near, and yet, remembering that hours before I read that he was a boisterous puppy-at-heart brute.

Anyway — time for me to rubadubadub and take some Panadols before I head off to sleep …

I've finally relented to the lures of blogging - and for those who care, well, I'm a self-confessed geek who's a wanderer at heart, who thinks and analyses too much, and who's trying hard to hold on to his 7-year old inner persona.
