Some time ago I came across the recipe for Egg Foo Yung, which is known in Indonesia as Fu Yung Hai. While cleaning up the house, I found the print-out recipe. So I don’t lose the recipe, I thought I’d post it in my blog so I wouldn’t lose it!

Fu Yung Hai
Ingredients
1 can crab meat
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
3 tbsp plain flour
4 eggs
100 gr frozen peas
1 carrot, shredded
3 cloves garlic, chopped
200 ml water
1 tbsp corn flour
4 tbsp tomato sauce
oilDirections
Mix flour, salt and pepper, crab meat, eggs, shredded carrots and 1 tbsp of chopped garlic, stir well into a batter,
Heat 1 tbsp oil, fried a spoonful of the batter and spread like an omelette.
Repeat until the batter mix is finished.Sauce
Heat 1 tbsp of oil and the rest of the chopped garlic, stir until fragrant.
Dilute corn flour with water, add in the tomato sauce and fish sauce into the pan. Stir well. If the sauce is too thick, add more water. If the sauce is too watery, thicken the sauce by adding more cornflour.
Lastly, put in the frozen peas, cook until boiled.Serving
Pour sauce over the omelette.
