Pergola Pictures – By Popular Demand

I know that I’ve mentioned about my new pergola in my recent blog posts and some of you are quite curious on what it looks like, so here are some of the pictures that I took yesterday – complete with the gloomy weather. Haha.

 

Some people asked me why I didn’t have the pergola covered. I wanted a more ‘organic’ look so I deliberately didn’t have any ‘roofing’ installed. I’ve planted two grapevines to provide shade in Summer and light in Winter – it will take around 2-3 years to cover the whole area though. Besides, if I wanted to have the pergola covered, I would’ve had to apply for a council approval first before I had the pergola built.
