General Election: On the edge of my seat!

It’s my first Australian general election after gaining my Australian citizenship in 2006 – I’m watching the minute-by-minute poll counting programme on ABC and it’s such a riveting watch especially for a number geek like me.  As much as I do have my reservations for Kevin Rudd being the Prime Minister, and for having a wall-to-wall Labor government in Australia, I must say that I can’t wait to have John Howard dumped. I have disliked him so much that I would switch my TV channel whenever he is on.

At the moment, Labor is ahead but nobody has made a definite call on who will win the election. It’s a thrilling evening here in Australia definitely!!!

Go Kevin! 🙂

I've finally relented to the lures of blogging - and for those who care, well, I'm a self-confessed geek who's a wanderer at heart, who thinks and analyses too much, and who's trying hard to hold on to his 7-year old inner persona.
