Un-lazy ‘Lazy Sunday’

I’m sitting here with my second cup of coffee, listening to Coldplay’s Don’t Panic from my Lazy Sunday 2 CD. I bought the CD along with its predecessor, Lazy Sunday many years ago when I went to New Zealand for a holiday.

It’s another glorious weekend here in Adelaide – the sun is out but the temperature is still pretty cool – very pleasant. The Bureau of Meteorology said that it would be around 22C max today. I wanted to get up late but by 8.00am, I was already awake and restless … hehehe.

It’s nearly 10.30am here, but I have done my laundry and I’ve also watered the plants in my backyard, sideyard and frontyard with some foul-smelling Powerfeed solution. It looks yucky (dark black/brown solution), and it smells like rotten fish and the sea but the plants love it. My japanese maple looked really sad last year but after I put some Powerfeed solution on it, it has survived since then.

Well, time for me to take a shower – I may go for a stroll down to K-Mart to buy a bus-ticket from the newsagent over there and head back home to change before heading on to church. It’s going to be a busy evening today, though – I need to do some work in preparation for another busy week. Hopefully it won’t be as hectic as this week – I really can’t wait to wind down and have a relaxing Christmas period …
