In less than five minutes, it will be Monday morning already, which will formally end my weekend. It’s been quite an eventful weekend – pleasant and yet busy at the same time. In less than a fortnight, I will start my holiday. I simply can’t wait – in my absence, one of my friends from church has kindly agreed to look after my house as well as my fishtank. I’m sure he’ll be just fine and that the other folks from church can accompany him from time to time … hahaha.
I feel really blessed today at church as well with all the discrete concerns that my friends showed me. They knew about my situation at work, and they asked me how I was coping – my pastor also told me that several people were praying for me. I just need to show my circumstances that I am truly an eagle, and that I take joy and fly even higher when I face storms and strong winds ahead. So I shall face the new week with my head held high and my wings spread apart to catch the wind and fly higher …
Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
But those who wait on the LORD
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40:30-31 (NKJV)
