Another Sunday, another katchunk, katchunk session from my washing machine … this weekend’s been one of perfect Adelaidean weekends. The temperature is more Autumn than Summer, with the maximum ranges at about 21C – 25C complete with cool and crisp mornings. Some of the maple trees linining Kimber Terrace have started to have some earthy blush to usher in the new season. I think we still have about a month’s worth of warm weather before Autumn begins in earnest.
I’m listening to some old French songs at the moment, while waiting for my laundry to finish. I’ve had my first coffee today but I may make myself another cuppa as I’m still feeling a wee bit peckish. I also had some of the pia cookies (crumbly pie-like pastries with greenbean filling) for breakfast that I got from my friend Vito. Apparently Vito’s parents own the pia factory in Malang, East Java. Scrumptilicious!
Well, my laundry’s done now so I can do the second batch, and then take a shower and get ready for church. The Indonesian Church will start again today after the two months’ hiatus. Yay! 😀
