Another euroCorner update

It’s 10:30pm now, on Wednesday evening and I am very tired – I nearly fell asleep waiting for my broadband connection to be reestablished. Somehow after I migrated to ADSL 2+, the connection has been quite erratic. The connection drops off from time to time, almost too often for my liking. The tiredness is pretty much caused by what is happening at work post-merger. I can’t write too much about it, understandably, other than having to deal with politics, power-play, insecurities and uncertainty. *sigh* 🙁

That’s why when I got home, I thought it would be good to keep myself busy so I won’t think too much about work. So, I drilled the Damast lantern that I bought from Ikea last week to the wall, as well as drilling a metal poster to the western side of the euroCorner . Two more posters to put on the wall, and it’ll be done and ready for the grand reveal before Christmas! Hehe (Yes, complete with the swept floor and lit candles …. hehehe).

The lantern was not planned at all, but when I saw it in Ikea on Thursday last week, I thought it would be good to have it above the table in the euroCorner. So here it is, a sneak peek of the western side of the euroCorner … you can see the lantern in detail in the following photo:

I’m rather proud of myself for doing more handyman’s work, even though I think I still have a long way to go before I can call myself a handyman! Haha. One step at a time, mate, one step at a time … 😀

Time for me to call it a day and head off to sleep … Sooo tired … zzzzzz!

I've finally relented to the lures of blogging - and for those who care, well, I'm a self-confessed geek who's a wanderer at heart, who thinks and analyses too much, and who's trying hard to hold on to his 7-year old inner persona.
